Mollem National Park

Mollem National Park is located in the state of Goa in India. This park Mollem National Parkcovers approximately 107km², and was declared a National Park in 1978. It forms the main part of the natural reserve of Bhagwan Mahavir.

Some animals that can be discovered in this national park are: gaur; leopards; chital; Indonesian Pilandoc; mutiaco; wild boar; porcupines; cuon; jungle cat; sambar; silver monkey; leopard cat;, small Indian Civet; Malabar squirrel; pangolin and the slow loris. Poisonous snakes like king cobras, pythons, kraits, and snakes are found here also.

Approximately 200 species of birds are also found here, including the Indian black beak, the Malabar pied hornbill, the Paradise Flycatcher, Fairy tile, drongo, the wagtail, barbet, Great Indian hornbill, kingfishers, shrikes, emerald dives, and the gray jungle fowl.
