Palolem

Palolem is a town at the southern end of Goa, in India, on the Arabian Sea; the beach is a popular destination for tourists.

Fishermen, who go out from here to the sea, also still use the gently sloping bay. The forested island of Canacona Island lies in the bay, known by the locals as Green Island. A few kilometers to the east lays the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary.

The area gained some popularity as the location for the opening sequence of the film The Bourne Supremacy.
