Goa Media

The most widely read newspapers in Goa are in English (Herald, Navhind Times Gomantak Times) and Marathi (Gomantak, Tarun Bharat).  The only paper written in Devanagari Sunaparant paper is in Konkani.

In addition, there are a number of other newspapers in Marathi, which are sometimes placed in the neighboring state of Maharashtra. In the bigger cities, national dailies are in circulation. Among the most important journals are the English-language news magazine Goa and Goan Observer Today and the Konkani weekly magazine Vauraddeancho Ixtt in the Latin alphabet, as well as Gulab, Bimbe (Konkani), Goa Messenger Harbor Times (English), and the computer magazine Digital Goa.
Radio
After the Portuguese colonial government took over the All India Radio Broadcasters, for a long time the regional program was All India Radio in Goa, received at the beginning of 2006 as part of the general liberalization of the Indian market, and included three private radio stations and a radio license.
Television
In Goa, almost all national programs can be received. In addition, there are several regional channels, including Goa Newsline, Goa 365, Goa and Goa Plus TV.  While cable television is prevalent in the cities, reception in the countryside usually is only possible via satellite.
